The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
